FREE Update for your CIC Navigation Maps – 2023 DVD/USB Download
After the successful CCC Navigation system, in September 2008 BMW came up with a new and improved version. The iDrive Professional Navigation has a new design, new functions, and a new operating system. Commonly known as CIC, this system runs GPS navigation without a dedicated DVD inserted. Another big improvement is the possibility of updating the maps through a USB connection. You can either choose to use the BMW CIC Navigation Update 2023 file from a DVD, just like for previous CCC models, or you can download the files directly to USB.
BMW CIC Navigation Update 2023

- the BMW CIC Navigation Update 2023 update file (download it from here)
- an empty DVD/USB (FAT32)
- a burning DVD software (we recommend Nero Burning ROM)/no software required for USB
No extra skills are required to update the BMW CIC Navigation to the latest maps. We recommend the usage of USB because there is a 100% success rate. Copy the downloaded files on your USB and plug it into your car’s navigation. From the menu, go to the navigation screen and the system will automatically detect the 2023 maps update file.
If for any reason you want to use the BMW CIC Navigation Update DVD, you will have to use a Burning DVD software (Nero Burning ROM is our recommendation). Mount the .iso image on your DVD using the lowest buffer rate, then insert the DVD into the car’s navigation system. Now, same as for the USB method, go to the Navigation screen and the system will automatically detect the BMW CIC Navigation Update 2023 file.
